Kernel Modules

Alex Rønne Petersen edited this page Oct 14, 2013 · 5 revisions

Kernel modules are modules that are part of the VM itself. They are created dynamically when the VM is started, and provide easy access to some native upcalls in the VM. Being part of the VM, they do not need to be upgraded or downgraded dynamically, and are not present on the file system.
