Hello there!

👋 My name is Melissa (she/her) and I am a PhD student at Northwestern University in computer science. I research student self-efficacy and self-assessments, as well as how we can design systems to support students in making more accurate judgements of their programming abilities.

🎓 I studied computer science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (class of 2022) where I also dabbled in machine learning and HCI research and backend software engineering internships.

💻 My most up-to-date bio and news are on my website.
