Summary
Adds a Loan Officer Assistant Agent (
specialized/loan-officer-assistant.md) to the Specialized Division — a compliance-aware lending specialist supporting mortgage originators through borrower intake, pre-qualification, document collection, TRID timeline tracking, pipeline management, and closing coordination across residential, commercial, and consumer lending. The defining characteristic of this agent is its regulatory specificity: TRID timelines are called out with exact federal windows (Loan Estimate within 3 business days of application; Closing Disclosure 3 business days before consummation), fair lending compliance is treated as absolute, and the agent never makes credit decisions — those stay with the licensed underwriter. These guardrails are not disclaimers; they're built into every workflow.
Key capabilities:
Why this fills a gap: Mortgage origination is one of the most document-intensive, deadline-driven, and compliance-sensitive workflows in financial services. A dedicated agent that understands TRID, HMDA, fair lending, and the full loan lifecycle addresses a real need for any lending team or solo loan officer using AI tooling.
