What I changed
Added a new employee EMP-2026-0849 (Arjun Reddy) to data/employees.json, and added a matching compliance record to data/compliance_state.json with overall_status: CLEARED, per docs/first_task.md.
What I tested
Ran
python agent.py --dry-run- all file checks and the smoke test pass, and get_employee_profile / check_compliance_status both resolve correctly for EMP-2026-0849 (overall_status: CLEARED). I did not have a GROQ_API_KEY available, so I was not able to run the full LLM-driven agent (python agent.py --employee EMP-2026-0849) end to end.Notes for the reviewer
Happy to run the full agent flow and update this PR if a reviewer can point me to a way to test it without a personal Groq key.
