TODO: Prettify this README and remove the irrelevant Next.js section.
This repository contains both a Next.js project and a minimal Flask app. Vercel allows deploying such that both the Typescript APIs from Next.js route handlers and the Python-based APIs from Flask work together.
To run the development environment locally, run npm run dev as usual. You can also run Next.js or Flask separately, by using npm run next-dev or npm run flask-dev, respectively.
By default, the local server for Next.js should be hosted at localhost:3000, whereas Flask should be hosted at 127.0.0.1:8000. For the Vercel deployment, both APIs are accessed from [deployment-url]/api.
This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun devOpen http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.

The easiest way to deploy your Next.js app is to use the Vercel Platform from the creators of Next.js.
