Blink Browser for iOS

A bleeding-edge, native iOS web browser built with Swift and optionally powered by the Chromium Blink engine. This project provides:

1. Native iOS Browser App (Swift/UIKit) — A fully-featured browser with tabbed browsing, bookmarks, history, ad blocking, reader mode, incognito mode, and more
2. Chromium Blink Engine Integration — Scripts and CI/CD to build Chromium with Blink for iOS (requires iOS 17.4+ via BrowserEngineKit)
3. GitHub Actions CI/CD — Automated builds producing IPA and TIPA (TrollStore IPA) artifacts
4. TrollStore Compatibility — Unsigned IPA for sideloading via TrollStore on iOS 14.0–17.0

Architecture

Default Build (WebKit)

The default build uses WKWebView (WebKit), which works on all iOS versions from iOS 14+. This is the recommended build for most users.

Blink Engine Build (Experimental)

For iOS 17.4+ or TrollStore devices, the browser can use Chromium's Blink rendering engine via Apple's BrowserEngineKit. This requires:

• macOS with Xcode 15.3+
• ~100GB disk space for Chromium source
• ~2-4 hours build time

Building

Quick Build (WebKit, GitHub Actions)

1. Fork this repository
2. Go to Actions → "Build iOS IPA"
3. Click "Run workflow"
4. Download the IPA/TIPA from the artifacts

TrollStore Installation

1. Build or download the TIPA file from GitHub Actions artifacts
2. Open TrollStore on your device
3. Install the TIPA file
4. The browser will appear on your home screen
