This is the final release of Photobench.

Things changed from the demo:

  • Backend cleanup for further modularity and consistency in code.
  • Text boxes now have default selections for readability.
  • Undo and Redo fixed so that you can't undo from nothing or redo at max.
  • Comments added to code for future viewers.
  • And other minor bugfixes.

3 brushes have been added: Line, Freeform, and Erase.

Free choice of what file to open

Save properly works

-Toolbars functionality, like save and close.

v1.0 Release

Base GUI has been added.

  • Toolbars created, with File, Edit and submenus and placeholders
  • Save pseudo-implemented, with popup dialog that ensures it is what you want to do.
  • General layout set, with panel ready for additional icons and functionality.
  • Canvas created as a general workspace.
  • Can also open a hardcoded image.

NOTE: You must have a file name "file.bmp" in the local directory for the open button to work.
