A simple plugin to put a background image behind your Godot editor.
- Download
cba.tresand put it in an accessible place. - Open up your Editor Settings, then go to the Theme tab (under Interface).
- Scroll down to Custom theme (you'll need to enable Advanced Settings to see it), set it to the theme file you just downloaded.
- Click on Save & Restart.
Simply go to Project > Tools > Backgrounds. That should open up the configuration window.
All the configuration is stored in cba.json, at the directory you've placed the cba.tres file.
Some important things:
- Don't forget to change the stretch and filter modes after placing an image.
- The theme respects the base and accent colors in the editor settings.
Note
Changing the UI color might freeze your editor for a second or two. Don't worry, that's normal. Godot just takes time to refresh all the theming.
If you have a problem with the plugin, just come to my Discord server and I'll try to help.
