About The Pull Request
Adds several new security-department oriented firearms which are both researchable and orderable. All of which 'inspired' by SS14's security firearms.
(Also included a few code updates here and there...)
Added the Mk58 Handgun, the Lecter and Drozd rifles, the Kammer and Enforcer shotguns, and the Hristov Sniper Rifle.
The Mk58 is given to all Security Officer's and Warden(s) Roundstart, chambered in rubbers. (The warden is given 1 magazine of lethals in addition to rubbers.) Uses .38 special, a new ammo type. (Mutually exclusive with the .38 ammo type used by the detective's revolvers.)
The Lecter is a fully-automatic rifle which fires 2-shot bursts, and chambers in a new ammo type: 556. The Drozd is technically a direct-upgrade firing in 3-shot bursts. Both worn on back.
The Kammerer is a combat shotgun which fires reasonably quickly, but only has a 4-shell capacity. The Enforcer is a direct upgrade with a 7-shell capacity.
The Hristov is a sniper rifle using 7.62 rounds, with a 6-shot capacity and the ability to scope. A bandolier can be ordered via cargo, containing 12 shots.
All guns and their respective ammo types can be purchased via cargo, and if the appropriate technology is researched, printed at the Security Techfab. Printed guns usually contain no ammunition, and never with a firing pin.
Why It's Good For The Game
Gives security more tools to handle threats to the station, not everything is supposed to be solved with a godamn stun baton. (It also gives them more means to use-and-abuse crew which is funny.)
It's important for the game's overall health to ensure Security is a powerful force, as they're effectively the only thing standing in the way of literally every single antagonist outside of valid-hunting crew/silicons and the occasional Head of Staff who thinks they're the main character.
