Our release tooling should take care of the docs. I don't remember seeing any error messages regarding to the docs. I was planning on doing another release soon (probably just a patch release). I'll keep a closer look at the documentation related steps during the release process. |

I was skimming through unfinished documentation PRs, contemplating which versioned docs they'd need to also go in … and realized the freshly-baked 8.5 release doesn't have documentation yet.
This PR aims to rectify that.
Having this in place enables to continue on #11882, #11753, #11743
