Issue with MOR HyperReducedTetrahedronFEMForceField

Hello,

I was trying to run some examples from MOR, but whenever I try to run any of the reduced scenes I get the error below. I tried to debug this with @VannesteFelix for a little bit but we couldn't solve it.

However, this error only happens on my work laptop but everything works fine on my personal laptop. In both cases, I am running on Ubuntu 22.04 and building SOFA from source from master using the same build configurations.

Hi @samuelmyoussef ,
could you put your linux config:
cmake, gcc, etc.
As well as how you are using the plugin, build with SOFA, used with an install of SOFA?
SOFA version and plugin version as well.

I am building SOFA from source and using in-tree build for the plugin
For SOFA and the plugin versions, I tried the master version, v23.06, and v23.12.

But no crash with the binaries v24.06...
Really strange, that's got to be some library version I guess.

Probably the qt version, I will try with qt5

Tested compiling with Qt 5.12.12 and the error disappear.

The trace is unsettling : you produce an object with the factory and then directly delete it...
Is it possible that it is only the process of recompiling it that fixed your issue ? Isn't it possible that you where in a development process where you make multiple builds and that when rebuilding, part of the project wasn't rebuilt although it need to be rebuilt ?

The behavior is strange enough to make me belive that it is more a problem of link (you where linked on a outdated lib, so you've executed code that wasn't at the expected adress of the shared lib).

Could you try to rebuild the whole project from scratch but with your original setup ?

I agree, I don't understand why it was deleting it.

I will re-compile with original config then ! Thanks for the lead.
But still, it's strange because the initial build was from a clean system (without any sofa compilation).

Ok I reproduced the error, it doesn't depend of the qt version.
It comes from building with RelWithDebInfo
