From what I've seen, registering isn't an option either - my european phone number gets declined right away. I want NetEase in Sonora, but I am not sure it is a good idea to merge something that none of the maintainers will have direct access to... Perhaps you have any ideas?

Register via NetEase Email (I'm not sure)
This method bypasses NetEase Cloud Music’s in-app registration restrictions. Create a NetEase email first, then authorize NetEase Cloud Music through the email’s App Center. It has the highest success rate for overseas users.
Steps
Open this dedicated registration link on mobile/desktop browser: https://zc.reg.163.com/m/regInitialized
Do NOT use the registration entry on https://mail.163.com homepage — it poorly supports overseas phone numbers.
Fill in your preferred email prefix and password. Choose your country/region, enter your phone number, and send the SMS verification code.
Input the received code to finish NetEase email registration.
Log into your new NetEase email on the web. Find App Center, locate NetEase Cloud Music, and click "Try / Add". Follow prompts to set your Cloud Music nickname.
Now your email is bound to NetEase Cloud Music. You can log in on web or app with this email & password, no mainland China phone number required.

Important Reminders
Avoid https://mail.163.com ’s registration page; it cannot send SMS codes to overseas numbers.
You must authorize Cloud Music inside NetEase email’s web App Center. Directly logging in on NetEase Cloud Music’s login page will still ask for a Chinese phone number.
This works for phone numbers from any country, as long as you can receive SMS verification codes.

It seems NetEase doesn’t want international users. I can register an account for you, but you still wouldn’t really own it, since it would be tied to my phone number. It’s up to you whether you’re okay with that.
