Tried/discovered both recently in spack/spack#25300
Currently, for spack test run /<spec> the spec needs to be loaded to work.

I'm hoping by the end of summer when we're closer to getting rid of the deprecated features. |

I think we're likely to have a major refactor of the tutorial for v1.0 -- that might be the right time to work this in. |
