I am a senior software engineer with more than 30 years of software development experience, mainly in the Java user interface realm. I love working on frontends and I am always looking for ways to come up with frameworks that makes the work for other developers easier. Since 2013 I have pretty much worked 100% of my time on JavaFX projects and many of my work results are now part of open source projects. Some of those are run by others, e.g. the ControlsFX project, some of them are my own, e.g. CalendarFX.
Reaching this goal will allow me to stay independent and spend more of my time working on open source projects.
