Unknown is returned to emphasise what the iads would think it is, for example for bombs or cruise missiles, I may change that in the future.

Yes it has been reverted so the PR should not be required anymore.

Seems to still be an issue. I encountered an error while testing a mission with 3.3.0 tonight:
I will look further into it but it looks like the present PR should resolve it (minus the "WEAPON" part).
