Recovery Trust

Recovery Trust - concept Designed to make passwords and recovery phrases somewhat obsolete. How? By adding a recovery Trust to whatever you want to protect, like your Coflnet Account. How? You create a Recovery Trust and add multiple Trusted sources to it.

Trusted sources are private keys, either generated from random values stored on a device, from external data (eg. Other auth providers or biometrical data) or from passphrases.

As you may know, no private keys without public ones. These are the ones that make up the Recovery Trust.

How to gain access. A variable amount of Trusted sources (usually 50%+) need to sign an "action" in oder for it to be accepted.

Example: You added the phone of your mom, one of your friends, your google account, a passphrase and your own smartphone to your Recovery Trust. You forget your passphrase AND someone hacked your google account. No problem, they can't get access to your Coflnet Account because they only have 40% of the Trust. However you can reset your passphrase because both you, your friend and your mom accept your reset request (by clicking "yes, grant him access" in the app)
