Prerequisites

• java 11 (temurin) instructions use sudo apt install temurin-11-jdk
• Eclipse JEE 2020-06
• Blueman (sudo apt install blueman)
• Last tested using

Notes

• When starting eclipse use sudo ./eclipse
• blueman-manager (use this command in console to start the bluetooth manager)
• Pair Shimmer device, pairing key is 1234
• Using bluetooth manager select shimmer device and connect to serial port, note the rfcomm upon connection
