DT Study
The following info is from Justin Bakse, the director of BFADT:
DT study is an amazing resource and it is FREE, make use of it.
Our tutors are other DT students that have specialties in a wide range of skills such as physical computing, code (across various languages), web, 3D, and more. If you need help with a DT project DT Study can most likely help you. Don't hesitate to ask!
DT Study drop-in hours are Monday through Saturday from 12-3pm D12 (look for the table with red tape/sign). This is a perfect way to get help on homework and projects and you can utilize this resource as often as desired.
Check the DT STUDY WEBSITE for a list of tutors and skills available on given days of the week.
We have a new DT Study Coordinator, Brooke Smith!
Brooke is a Junior in DT and your best point of contact if you want a tutoring appointment.
Please email her at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding DT study, DT tutoring, or would like to get set up with 1-on-1 tutoring sessions for a specific topic.
Just a tip for getting the most out of DT Study. Don't go to a DT Study tutor hoping they will fix your problem or make your project work. Go to DT Study to get help fixing your problem yourself and learning how to work through the problem. If your tutor does offer a quick fix, great, but spend some extra time really talking through the problem and the solution to make sure you understand. If they don't have a quick fix, that's great too, work together to move towards a solution.
