Welcome all to the inaugural TT-AvData meeting since INFCOM-3
IWXXM 2025-2:
- Review comments received during public consultation of IWXXM 2025-2RC1: Comment 1, Comment 2
- Review outstanding comments/bug reports on IWXXM 2023-1 and before: Issues #323, #328, #331, #338, #339, #340
- Prepare submissions for FT2025-2, including:
  - IWXXM 2025-2RC2, proposed revision to the code lists and proposed amendments to WMO No.306 Vol. I.3
  - Proposed addition of new WMO Abbreviated Headings for exchange of VONA reports over ICAO AFS (Issue #321)
Ad hoc teams (created in the last meeting):
- The removal of reference to WMO No. 49-II in all IWXXM documentation (Boonchai as lead).
- The consolidation and management of code lists used by IWXXM (Dirk as lead).

Choy opened the team with a warm welcome
Paul, Sunny and the attendees introduced themselves
The team reviewed the following issues for 2025-2 release (see comments in issues)
- #343, #342 #323, #328, #331, #338, #339, #340
Team was aware of schematron rule bugs occurring in previous version(s) of IWXXM. Due to the need to prepare IWXXM 2025-2RC2 in time it will be further discussed in subsequent meetings, but the team was in general consensus that retro-fix would be required as users may still be using previous versions
Dirk brought up the discussions made at WG-MIE/12 regarding the need to specify interpolation method in gml:PolygonPatch (see Action 1)
Prepare FT submission - Target preparation by April
- Choy will create an RC2, code lists and draft amendment to WMO No.306 Vol. I.3
- Also need to address the new VONA header, where it is published and who approves it (see Action 2) (https://github.com/wmo-im/iwxxm/issues/321)
Ad hoc teams to prepare for changes to be made in the next update:
- Remove reference to WMO-No. 49-II - Mark to assist as necessary Boonchai in leading this activity. Choy to confirm with Boonchai on his wish to lead
- Code list consolidation - Dirk has not had time to work on this yet. Choy had invited Sunny to help Dirk on technical work
Jan reminded there were issues mentioned in Discussion #377 requiring attention (see Action 3)
The team tried to schedule the next meeting in the last two weeks in February. Not all are available 18 or 19 Feb.

1. CHOY - Open an issue on inclusion on updating the examples to include interpolation method in gml:PolygonPatch
2. Anna - Seek Secretariat's view on WHO to approve the header request? We need to determine before mid-February at the latest and prepare FT submission accordingly
3. CHOY - Create an Issue from the Discussion and follow up (Post meeting note: Issue #344)
4. Anna - Make a Doodle Poll for next meeting in the last two weeks of February 2025
