T3 is a group of software tools for cannabis operators who use Metrc. T3 tools speed up Metrc workflows and transform your compliance data into business insights.

Each of these components can be used for free, but subscribing to T3+ unlocks premium features for each.
T3 is operated by Matt Frisbie
Modern CSV is the recommended software for editing CSVs. The basic version is free to use.
All T3 products offer a free basic version that does not require signup. You can subscribe to T3+ to gain access to additional tools and features.
T3+ is the paid subscription that unlocks the full T3 platform. T3 has some basic features that are free to use, but T3+ unlocks a much larger and more powerful set of tools.

A T3+ is intended to be uncomplicated and affordable.
- T3+ is a fixed-price subscription, there are no hidden add-ons.

You can find the version of the currently installed T3 Chrome Extension in the extension popup.
- Click the T3 icon at the top of the browser, to the right of the URL
- The T3 popup will open. Look to the bottom of the popup to find your version number.

The latest version of T3 is visible on the Chrome Web Store page.

If it doesn't match the version installed in your browser, your extension is out of date.
The T3 Chrome Extension will update automatically. Once an update is pushed to the Chrome Web Store, most users will receive it within 24 hours, and usually faster than that.
NOTE: uninstalling/reinstalling is no longer the recommended way to force an update. Doing so will work, but it will reset your T3 install.
If you need to force your installed version to update, follow the following steps:
- Access the Manage Extensions page via ⋮ > Extensions > Manage Extensions

- If you haven't already, turn on the Developer Mode toggle in the top right.

- With Developer Mode enabled, you will see additional buttons at the top left. Click Update to update your extensions.
Triggering an extension update
Chrome will check all your extensions for updates, so this may take a moment.

Chrome will show "Extension Updated" in the lower left corner of the screen once the update process completes. If a T3 update is available, you will see the version number increase.

Refresh Metrc to reload T3 and start using the latest version.

T3 does not save any of your Metrc data. T3 does collect a modest quantity of usage analytics to detect bugs and other problems, but these are scrubbed of any Metrc data.
I do my best to keep T3 running smoothly, but problems are inevitable. Once I know about them, they can be fixed quickly.
If you find an issue with any T3 product, there are three ways to get in touch so I can fix it:
- Fill out the T3 problem form (preferred). This automatically sends me an email.
