AtD Product Roadmap
This is the product roadmap for Access the Data (AtD) (separate from a project roadmap) which should be thought of as a rough sketch. As we launch the minimal viable product (MVP), we should be allowing users to play with the test environment and getting feedback to build requirements and a plan to develop AtD incrementally. You never completely know what you are going to learn in your exploration so this roadmap should change, possibly dramatically, throughout AtD’s development and lifecycle.
While developing Version 1.0 of AtD, the product manager will have to use user feedback to make updates to the rest of the roadmap and start adding some details to what Version 2.0 will entail.
STRONG SUGGESTION: Keep projects small. When, inevitably, stakeholders start asking for new features, it is better to plan those features for a separate project. Our volunteers, on average, are with us for 6 months so it is important to stick to 6 month deliverables. It is better the finish out a project in six months than to train new volunteers mid-project.
Expected launch: 2023 December
