Research Date

June 18, 2022

Summary of Research

  • Conducted a Competitive Usability Evaluation of existing CKAN Websites
  • Automation was introduced as a process to reduce current manual usability testing within the product team:
    • Automated quantitative usability testing was conducted
    • Automation was introduced to reduce time & resources taken to complete manual usability testing of products.Such that other product teams & domains (including design, dev & product teams) could conduct quick, basic-level testing of products/features. Thus freeing up the schedule for UX Researchers on the team to focus on more high level & time-consuming research projects in order to drive the product's roadmap.
