Publish Repository

You can publish an existing stand alone repository to a server in order to share it. To do so:
- Open the repository you want to publish in the SpecLog client.
- Select Publish Repository from the main menu.
- Enter the server's URL including the port number.
- Enter a Repository name (the current name is suggested).
- Click on Publish
The repository name on the server does not need to match the name of the repository file on the client. The repository has a unique ID, which is retained when publishing the repository and when cloning a repository if the Keep identifiers option is checked.
You can publish the same shared repository to the server under a different name by cloning the repository and publishing it again.
