General Updates

• Welcome to Sujaya - new placement student at ISIS

• Technical group still meeting but every other week on alternate weeks to regular developer meeting

Status updates of ongoing projects

• Two Yukawa S(Q) (Yun/Paul K.)
• Shape2SAS (Kristian)
• CI automation (Jeff/James)
• CodeScene and Ruff (Paul S./Jeff)
• Refactoring Project (James/Lucas/Adam/Jeff)

James' last day

• Plan for people based in RAL to have lunch at Dish
• For others, there's a rough plan to have an online meeting in the afternoon after lunch (which should hopefully work with schedules over in America).

Release Work

• 6.1.1 release updates (James)
  • Code Freeze: 15th August (this Friday!!) (PRs should be merged by the end of the day).
  • Final release: By the 22nd August, which is James' last day.
  • Expectation is that no new features will be needing to be merged to main before mid-August
  • There are currently 23 open issues. Its unlikely we'll be able to fix many before the release, but any contributions are greatly appreciated.
  • Any unfixed issues will be rolled onto the next release.

If we at this fortnightly meeting are ready to press ahead with these ADRs, they will be brought to the mailing list, with a final decision due at the next fortnightly meeting (26th August).
