Welcome to the Forest Service’s customer support manual for Open Forest!

This support manual has been designed to ensure a consistent and streamlined approach to customer service and to equip each customer support employee with the knowledge and resources necessary to effectively resolve customer issues. Feel free to read this manual chronologically to give yourself a solid understanding of everything you’re likely to encounter as a Forest Service customer support agent. However, should you need to jump to a particular section you can use the links in the side-bar menu to the right. There you will find various sections, ranging from the values we strive to uphold to a general guide on our basic approach to customer service events. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the title of each section. That way you will have a basic understanding of where to find the answer to any question you may have.
