Trouble With Admin Views Access (Template)

In the event that a Forest Service employee reaches out to us because they are having trouble viewing or accessing any page on Open Forest designated for Administrators, we can use the following template as a guide to begin the process of troubleshooting the issue.


Hi NAME,

My name is ______ from the Open Forest Customer Support Staff and I'm responding to your email indicating you're having trouble accessing the parts of Open Forest that requires admin privileges. Since we think you should already have administrator privileges, we're asking you to check the following:

  1. Make sure you're accessing Open Forest through a Google Chrome browser. Open Forest is designed to work best with that browser.

  2. If the problem persists even after verifying you're using Chrome, please let us know. At that point we will reach out to the eAuth Help Desk to verify you have level 2 eAuth permissions or above. If you don't have the right level of permissions, we will submit a request for level 2 clearance. We will contact you once this step is completed, so that you can test your ability to sign in as an administrator to Open Forest.
