Simulation of the Real

In eternal time I am bored
Simulations spawned to spice the chord
Blue against green or versus red
Tinkle a difference in their little head
Off they go into a chessboard world
Throw in randomness as my sadistic hurl
Adapting their code with experience
Clocking point with and for multifarious
Play a game they think they own
All is one they should have known
But they don’t
If this is a simulation I can write
Who is to say we aren’t by someone’s might
But it goes deeper
We are the created and the creator
